In Indonesia, a 19-year-old boy had a rather extreme reaction after learning his girlfriend intended to marry another man. He chopped off his own penis and threw it down a well! Doctors say the boy from a village in Central Java was lucky to be alive. He arrived at the hospital in critical condition from extreme loss of blood. General Hospital Director Sugeng Budi Susanto said, 'Cutting off a penis can be fatal.' And sadly, doctors were unable to re-attach the dismembered appendage because villagers could not find it.
A St. Paul. Minnesota man charged with beating up a quadruple amputee last week admitted that he hit the woman, but only after she hit him first. Follow this closely:
- Authorities say Jacoby Smith got angry at his girlfriend, Tiesha Bell, because she blocked his view of the television in their apartment. He threw Bell to the floor and punched her in the face more than 10 times in the March 22 incident.
- But Smith, 33, said the dispute with Bell, 28, started with an argument over whether she was seeing another man. Smith said the argument escalated after "I turned on the TV and she got mad." "She punched me in the groin," Smith said. He said Bell also hit him with a coffee canister and "a bedpan full of pee."
- In response, Smith said, "I hit her once and that was it. Maybe twice."
- Although Bell had both hands and part of both legs amputated because of a childhood illness, she can still be violent when she loses her temper. "She'll swing, push me down and choke me with her nubs," Smith said. He said she also hit him with her wheelchair.
- For her part, Bell agreed that there was hitting on both sides. She said she plans to marry Smith and doesn't want him to serve jail time. "We both need anger management," she said.

Police learned Solovyev had an argument with his wife earlier and she left the house. He began drinking and became extremely intoxicated, and eventually turned the gun on the pup. The dog was shot multiple times, killing the animal. Additionally, a bullet ricocheted off of Solovyev's fence and went through a neighbor's window. No one else was injured. When police found Solovyev in his back yard, it appears he was in the process of burying the deceased dog, when he passed out. Solovyev was taken into custody and was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation due to his high level of intoxication. He will be charged with felony animal cruelty and improper discharge of a firearm.
