In Largo, Florida, a couple were arrested and charged with domestic battery last week after an argument escalated into a food fight. Keane Langel and his girlfriend, Brenda Riley, were arguing at their home just after midnight when Langel started spitting bananas on Riley and throwing doughnuts at her. Riley, 49, then "armed herself with a banana," ripped the fruit into two pieces and jammed them into Langel's ears.
A woman in England has been accused of conning two ladies into having sex by pretending to be a man. Samantha Brooks, 25, appeared in court on two charges of obtaining sex by fraud. The short-haired Brooks is alleged to have kept up the pretence with one of her alleged victims for six years. She pretended to one young woman that she was a man called Lee Brooks, and induced the woman to repeatedly consent to sexual contact, and duped a second woman into having sex while using the same name. Brooks made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
A 30-year-old woman in Rochester, NY was assaulted last Friday by the man she was in a parked SUV with, after a fight broke out between the two. The man pulled a knife, she grabbed it, tried to stab him but failed, and jumped out of the SUV - running off with the man's knife, and pants.
Marion County Sheriff’s officer responded to the home of 64-year-old Daniel Walton, where he falsely identified himself to officers as “a sergeant with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.”
He stated to police that “I killed my wife and she’s inside the house bleeding out.”
Walton told deputies “he killed his wife because he was bored.”
When officers went into the home they found that Walton’s wife was sleeping and knew nothing of the call to police.The wife was not actually hurt. She was sleeping at the time and knew nothing of Walton’s call to law enforcement.Walton was arrested Saturday for False Report of a Crime.
If convicted on a misdemeanor in the first degree, Walton could face up to one-year imprisonment and a fine of up to $1,000.
